The spring of 2006 has brought about many exciting developments at Lehmann Farms. Over the course of the winter months our research and development team has been working feverishly to bring new products never before seen into both the retail and food service markets.

Lehmann Farms meets Peppadew™ Piquante Peppers

In the fall of 2005 Lehmann Farms signed an exclusive contract to develop many exciting new products using sweet and spicy Peppadew™ Piquante Peppers. This unique fruit is considered to be the “… first truly new fruit to be launched on the world market since Kiwi Fruit 26 years ago…” (Gourmet Magazine) Peppadew also won the recognition of Chef Sarah Moulton of Good Morning America as “…one of the ten best products out of 50,000…” at the 2003 New York Fancy Food Show.

This highly acclaimed product found the perfect home at Lehmann Farms. A match in both quality and flavor these little peppers have been added to two of our keystone products, our world famous pickled mushrooms and our incredible Bloody Mary Mix. The results include the Pickled Peppa-room, and our delicious Peppadew Bloody Mary - a never before seen cocktail mix which has been well received by retail chains spanning the entire United States.
