Chef Jason Johnson, is a culinary professional whose desire is not only to provide quality & fresh food, but to create lasting, memorable, & personable experiences. Being introduced to cooking at a young age from watching his grandmother and being inspired by culinary icons such as Julia Childs, Jacque Pepin, G. Garvin, and others, Chef Jason began his journey!
Chef Jason was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where he graduated from Beechcroft High School. He made his way to Kentucky State University in Frankfort, KY to pursue a degree in Biology. Shortly after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chef Jason found himself struggling with his passion of food and the sciences. Therefore, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a chef and enrolled in Sullivan University’s (KY) Culinary Arts program. Upon completion, Chef Jason obtained a ServSafe Certificate (Certified Safe Food Handler) and certified as a Professional Chef with a degree in Culinary Arts from Sullivan University in Lexington, KY.
He is also a member of the Americian Culinary Federation (ACF)

Chef Jason is also passionate about community & giving back. He has given his talents for various local community organizations & events such as Chef In Schools Initiative, Homeless Families Foundation, Taste for FACE, Urban Farms, Star House, Central Community House, Local Matters, and several other local organizations.
Whether a personal chef meal plan, an intimate dinner, a small dinner party, educational cooking class/seminar, or live cooking demonstration, Chef Jason seeks to uplift, inspire, invigorate, & empower while bringing people together & leaving clients with a smile!
